005 : Kids Photography

I was fully occupied for the past few days that I ignored people messages (all of them) due to well, rushing down in choosing around 800's photos for the Graduation of RTA. That's where all my time occupied and even I forgot to drink a lot of time. I chose until around 4.30'ish or 5 i guess, and I didn't even realize it.

Thanks to this very addictive old Bollywood song which accidentally, I found called "Charha De Rang" from Yamla Pagla Deewana. And guess what I found? Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's version and right away (like always actually) hooked up with his version! His voice is just amazing and its quite unique, there's just a trademark! When he sings, the tunes becomes so touchy and the voice soothes you a lot as if the song is just sang by him for you!

004 : Random Thought - Miracle

Alright! Just maybe, you can say I'm  stress as I'm against time and I've this habits of actually being "very active" on Facebook. Starts from posting songs, listening to some songs with my headset until I feel a bit relax and thinking of something random; as in fact its the inspirational stuff comes out, totally random thoughts and then I shared on my Facebook status! Sorry for those whom got the mess from my update status! 


Anyway, while I was busy editing (checking photos basically), I turned on " How Great is OUR GOD" sung by Chris Tomlin. Quite loud and I started to sing like always, then the older soul of mine came out and made me quite well, old LOL!! SO what are my random thoughts? Today's random thought from the overloaded brain is

003 : Movie + Food

We had been waiting for this movie to be out ever since we saw the trailer a month or sometimes ago! so, yes, I was overjoyed when I check the cinema's websites and said it'll be out today!! I didn't really expected anything wow but I didn't expect it will be this very entertaining. Basically, its about Abraham whose mother was killed by the vampire and he grew up wanted for a revenge. Then after 9 years, after his dad died, he decided to take the revenge. Right on the day, where he wanted to kill, he went to the bar, got drunk and a guy name Henry, started a conversation with him. And that's where all the thing begun, he introduces to the a new world, he never knew. 

The actions is awesome , the cinematography is amazing and yes, its worth your penny and time. Somehow, there are parts where the drama just too much, but its really worth it. At least we didn't get bored nor people in the cinema for 1.5 hours.

Somehow, I wanted to watch it again and I'm sure Mr. Grumpy also! I rated 8/10 for this movie as lately, there aren't much good movies around; well not the ones which grabbed our heart and wanted to watch it again, again and again until this one. So go and watch it! you may ended up loving it like we do too.

002 : Very Random

Okay, it's normal that there's this weird time when you don't even know your own feeling. It's like you are sad but you don't know why. Nor you're happy but not sure why you can't smile. So that's what Im going throughout the whole day, indescribable feeling. Instead of not understanding what I wanted apart from being alone, i decided to just kill the time watching The Mentalist (the 4th session) and Touch (the 1st session) as well as sleeping.

Anyway, An Agent called me and I remembered this lady told me to write down my name for "offshore saving" while I was doing my exhibition. So this Australian man called me and at first, i didn't get what he mean knowing I wasn't really fully awake. Then he talked about "offshore savings" and it just recalled my memory ha-ha-ha! That one didn't pass through me, so he kept promoting to another product of his company "life-insurance"? Then I told him " my Mom is an insurance agent, so most probably I got it already", then he kept promoting another product "retirement savings" and seriously, I couldn't hold myself so I laughed LOL

Straight-forwardly I told him, I'm not interested as I'm still young, not even thinking about getting retired. My career is start rising up and I'm still 27 on going 28! The first thing I've in mind is not what am I going to do when I'm retired but what must I do to boost my career up! He said, even now my friends who are 25 starts to do the saving. Honestly, who would buy that unless they aren't sure of themselves that they'll be having long life! 

Being a marketing is not easy. It's not all about "selling, selling and selling your products". It's also about understanding your target market and promoting it to the right ones. Why would some marketing spending so much time to promote products which aren't fit into their target market's age category? 

Some marketers aren't good marketers, quite pushy. See, I understood the part where he kept promoting his products but if the client have no interest in any of his products, why did spend some time to promote? hmmm! And talking about "retirement savings"? oh dear! I'm still a long way about that, later when I'm in my 40's, I'll figure it out! My mom didn't do those savings, yet she survives and living in awesome life in her 70's! so really, do we need it in today's modern world?

Life has changed so much and hard to believe on how simple people used to live. They didn't think of anything much, just work, work, work, and saved. Today's life, is not easy but very complicated, as in fact, I feel like everything is "commercial". If you aren't into today's trends, you are left-behind or people would judge you in such a way. This is the life, we are living at the moment - complicated and commercial. Instead of "standing on our own feet", we become "followers". As time changes, people's mind is changed not just through environment but through advertisements too. People used to be very individualists but now, its so groupies. We believe in what its being advertises rather than the uses out of it.  In other way of saying " we buy and believe in things which aren't yet useful for us for the sake of "following today's trend and stays cool in community". True? 

Anyway, it had been forever since I can pampered myself alone, being lazy ass but have to admit, I did do a bit of work ha-ha-ha-ha!! let's do a bit of movie reviews :

TOUCH - First Session

I've heard this series from Kiefer Sutherland is booming lately, so I decided to buy and spent some time watching it. The funny thing is that I watched the last few episodes first before i watched the beginning of the movie. Nor, I realized until I picked the last cd and i was like "silly me"

Touch, it's totally like "heroes" but its just portrays mute kid with power and analyzing things through numbers as its connected one to another incidents. Its entertaining but not awesome; time passer series but not the one that made you curious until the end. Its seriously gives the vibes of "what's going to happen with the kid?", but its more like "oh okay, its too obvious". 

I'm not sure about how others felt knowing this dvd is a bit hot in here but that's how i see it. Nothing awesome; i scored 4/10 

001 : Human Interest & I

Human Interest - i never really did it purposely to capture " people" but somehow, today, through the photos, I've realized, I'm quite good in capturing people's expressions. Portraits that is my style and what i love the most is capturing them in candid and make those who sees my photo smiling. These are just totally random photos I captured at today's work, but i love these photos.

And well, before I write down who am I, i better tell you that I'm kids' photographer from Lil' Sunshine Kids Photography (www.facebook.com/lilsunshinephotography) and let this blog is more than just personal but also become "show-case" for my Photography too!

Let me Introduce myself; My name is Grace from Indonesia and I'm obsessed with Architecture and Food Photography. I've been a photographer for a while and I used to shoot wedding. But wedding photography business didn't do well on me and also on that time I did the work all by myself, so I shifted into Kids' Photography.

Time flew, for almost 9 months running the Kids photography business, I realized that being Kid's photographer is more than just a job, the salary but its all about "passion and satisfaction" especially when you are working and afterwards. And I can't thank enough for Mr. Grumpy; the better-half of mine who's helping me runs the business, who is more than just business-partner but also the ones who completed me :)

Anyway, that's all about it and hope I won't get bored with writing. Precisely, I can do a daily update ha-ha-ha-ha!
